Myself and our Board supported critical budget alterations during a funding crisis that successfully prevented major employee layoffs, keeping our experienced staff serving our students.
I actively supported and helped pass policies that established clear, common-sense guidelines for cell phone use while on campus to reduce distractions and improve learning environments.
Worked directly with Cal Fire Chief Tony Mecham, Superintendent Thurman, and Principal Rodriguez to initiate vital vocational fire cadet and EMT classes at Ramona High School.
We've accomplished a lot, but there is more to do. If re-elected, I have a clear, actionable plan to continue elevating the Ramona Unified School District.
Stand with DanI will prioritize working with Studer Education in their specialized programs to systematically raise test scores and improve overall academic achievement across the district.
I want to pursue a public/private partnership between RUSD and the Ramona Chamber of Commerce. Our goal: explore local businesses providing economic enhancements to RUSD certified staff to attract and retain the best personnel.
Our facilities need attention. I will actively lobby for a targeted, responsible school bond to be placed on the 2028 ballot to address our long-term infrastructure challenges.
I am steadfast in my commitment to protect parental rights within our educational system. Furthermore, I will unapologetically defend girls-only sports to ensure fairness and safety for female athletes.
